Foreign investment continues to grow in Chile. In 2025 alone, the country is expected to receive more than USD 20 billion in foreign direct investment (FDI), a clear sign of market confidence in Chile’s stability. New industries such as lithium, green hydrogen, and emerging technologies are becoming the latest magnets for international capital.
Yet a successful market entry requires more than financial resources. It requires a comprehensive communication strategy that guides investors, anticipates potential conflicts, and fosters relationships with key stakeholders. This involves detailed mapping of the political, regulatory, and social environment where the investment will take place; arranging introductory meetings with local authorities and community leaders before breaking ground; and developing a strategic narrative that can be high-profile to raise public awareness or carefully low-profile to maintain discretion, depending on the project’s goals.
