His dedication to legal scholarship then led him to Germany, where he earned the German equivalent of a Ph.D. or terminal degree in law as a prestigious Konrad Adenauer Foundation fellow.
Upon returning to Chile, Miguel shared his profound knowledge by teaching International Law and Conflict of Laws at his alma mater. His contributions to legal scholarship were further recognized through additional fellowships from esteemed German and Spanish organizations.
The transition to the United States marked a pivotal point in his career. Miguel was instrumental in assisting European investors with the acquisition of a small IT company, subsequently organizing and leading its subsidiary. Further solidifying his business acumen, he earned an MBA from Emory University.
As a seasoned business consultant, Miguel has a proven track record of success, having helped streamline operations and facilitate the internationalization of both private and state-owned companies, as well as government entities, across Latin America. His diverse experience also includes valuable insights gained from his time in higher education administration in the U.S.
